XOXO, Sydnie’s Styles

Throughout taking Strategic Presentation, I learned a lot about many different platforms that I have not had experience with before. I truly enjoyed being able to create my audience for the WordPress blog and post a variety of content in order to keep them engaged. While completing this class, I learned how to create a podcast, a website, blog posts, and use a variety of other platforms that I will now use in the future.

To my audience, I hope that all of the content that I have posted here on my blog has kept you engaged and had you coming back for more. My goal was to engage you all with comfortable, yet trendy fashionable looks that you can wear all day. Each post I had created was in order to inform you all about different outfit ideas, trends, and unique ways in which you can sport the latest trends. Through creating my own website design, creative commons image, and various posts, I hope that I achieved that goal. I enjoyed putting the research into every piece of content that I created for this class. My logo was one of my favorite projects to create for this class. It was interesting to learn about the types of images I could use as creative commons, to create my own and unique image that would make my brand stand out. I chose those images to show some fashion trends, while also incorporating the winter season into it, which was when I first started my blog.

For all the blog posts I created, each one of them was unique and created in a way that my audience could consume information that was not repetitive. While this class was moved online so fast, I tried to also incorporate these unprecedented times into various postings, so I could relate to my audience’s fashion picks at the moment. In the fashion industry, it is important to stay on top of what the current trends are and while those changed drastically over a course of a few weeks, I made sure to address that will my audience. With that being said, I really enjoyed being able to do this in a creative ways. Even though the purpose of my blog slightly changed from start to end, I was able to accomplish my goals through all my blog postings this semester.

Lastly, creating my podcast was one of my favorite pieces to create for this class. While unfortunately, I did struggle a lot with using Audacity, I still enjoyed this project. I loved being able to talk to my audience on a topic that I really enjoy and know a lot about. Researching the trends that I incorporated into the podcast such as tie dye closet pieces, leather leggings, and white sneakers, I was able to express some of the most popular fashion trends that people will have coming out of quarantine.

Overall, I truly enjoyed creating my creative commons logo, all my blog posts, and my podcast for my audience. Through each of these projects I was able to use platforms that I have never used before and now ones that I plan to use in the future. I really enjoyed creating a website, blog posts, and my podcast. I hope that I created a lasting impression on the audience I created, and I hope to excel in the future from all of the programs that I learned throughout this class.

As always,
